Horses in intense work or those that travel extensively lose significant amounts of body electrolytes to sweat. Daily electrolytes cannot always keep up with the needs of the equine athlete.

Hygain® Regain® is an electrolyte paste intended to help provide electrolytes and B vitamin support to help balance overall body hydration and support performance.

Sodium and Chloride: The main components of sweat and help support hydration
Potassium: One of main factors in maintaining good hydration, and together with sodium help to maintain a good fluid balance in the body
Calcium and Magnesium: Important for muscle contraction and relaxation, and together support healthy muscle function
Vitamin E: An important antioxidant that helps with oxidative stress related to intense exercise
B Vitamins: Important in energy metabolism and support efficient use of electrolytes in the body
