Excel Equine Fiber First
From powerful Thoroughbreds that pound the racetrack as they train each day to the weekend competition horse, performance horses are intense and energetic. When these horses compete, they need to compete at the elite level to the beginner level and the plane of nutrition they receive can influence success greatly. It is critical that the nutritional demands are met with a properly formulated and fortified line of feeds that provide optimal nutritional support. Our Performance line ensures the calories they consume provide the fuel they need. These feeds are a mix of quality oils, optimal vitamin and mineral levels and high quality fibers like beet pulp. The combination makes for a palatable, yet nutritionally balanced feed, the perfect fuel for these athletes.
As the name implies, fiber content is high in this feed thanks to increased beet pulp content. Its high fat content makes Fiber First® a safe source of calories and energy. This feed is an ideal choice for horses that struggle with tying up and also for horses with COPD because it also allows them to consume less hay.
