About This Feed

Trifiber Compete^® is a low-starch highly digestible performance feed that is designed for horses competing in athletic competitions. It is composed of safe, digestible fiber sources like beet pulp and high-quality fat sources like rice bran. Trifiber Compete^® works very well for all competing horses or that need a source of safe calories while trying to gain weight. The low starch and NSC content make it an ideal choice for horses that may be prone to any metabolic health condition.

Feeding Directions

Trifiber Compete^® is intended to be fed to performance horses or those that need to gain weight. Feed at the rate of 0.5 to 1.5 lbs per 100 lbs of body weight split into at least 2 equal feedings. Adjust the amount fed to maintain desired body condition. Always provide adequate good quality forage in either hay or pasture form at a minimum of 1% of body weight. Trifiber Compete^® may be used as a substitute for forage. All Excel Equine^® horse feeds should be fed with liberal quantities of good quality hay and/or pasture and free choice salt. Provide clean, fresh water at all times. Store feed in a clean, dry place protected from insects and rodents. Never feed moldy or insect infested feed to horses as it may cause illness, digestive upset or death.
