Hi. My name is Dahna and I have been working wIth the Feed Bucket since the first day. I enjoy greeting people and helping them with their Animals needs. In my spare time I love to ride, garden and sew.

I started off working for the Metzgers when I was 20 years old, as warehouse help part time. I turned 35 on March second 2026.

So I've been doing this for a good portion of my life. 15 years this year.

I've played almost every role I possibly can here, Going from the warehouse, to deliveries, to office staff, to the general manager.

Spent over 10 years on the road delivering feed and helping manage the warehouse.

Spend most of my free time tending to my 25 chickens, 1 dog and 3 cats, or fishing from my kayak or playing my guitar....

I'm married to Caitlin Gardner, no kids. Hopefully I'll have many more good years here to come.

I’m so excited to be joining the Feed Bucket and Purina team, where I get to combine my love for farming with my passion for horses.

Growing up on a farm in south-central Kentucky, I’ve always been deeply connected to farm life. That upbringing instilled in me the value of hard work and the importance of truly caring for all animals.

I enjoy trail riding, showing, and raising a few foals while also tending to our farm in Hustonville, KY, where every animal is part of the feed bill. My husband affectionately calls it Kayla’s Ark…In my role, I support farms and horse lovers by conducting feed trials and helping them discover the best feeding solutions for their horses, no matter the program.
